STRATHENDRICK ROTARY CLASSIC CAR TOUR

Supplementary Regulations
1. Announcement
The Strathendrick Rotary Classic Car Tour will be held on Sunday 25th April, 2010 and is organised by the Rotary Club of Strathendrick The event will start at The Beech Tree Inn, Dumgoyne, By Killearn G63 9LA and finish at Culcreuch Castle Fintry, Stirlingshire G63 0LW. A Map of the Start and Finish venues will be issued with the final instructions.
2. Car Eligibility
All Vintage, Historic and Classic Cars, including Modern Sports Cars are welcome.
Entries are limited to a maximum of 60 cars.
3. Entries
The Entry List opens on publication of these Regulations and Entry Form.
The Entry List closes on 10th April 2010 or when a maximum of 60 entries are received.
There will be NO ENTRY FEE for what is promised to be a day of fun and fellowship amongst like-minded classic car enthusiasts, however all entrants are expected to raise SPONSORSHIP – MINIMUM £25 per car with funds to go to the Rotary International supported charities. Scottish Charity A/c No SCO16137.
Please seek donations from friends, family, business associates to assist in raising funds for these worthy causes by completing the separate sponsorship form not forgetting to tick the Gift Aid Box if applicable. The sponsorship form together with the monies collected can be handed in on the day or sent not later than 7 days after the event to the organising committee:

5. Route Navigation and Driving Behaviour
The route will be on public A and B class and unclassified roads. The route will be on sealed surfaces. The route will be defined by Tulip diagrams. A Road Book and Map will be provided. A sample will be sent out with the final instructions.
Participants must at all times comply with the requirements of the Road Traffic Acts and drive in a responsible and considerate manner. Please remember other road users, cyclists, walkers and livestock.
6. Qualification/Licences
There is no element of competition, so no special qualifications are needed. A full UK driving licence is required
7. Insurance
Insurance is the sole responsibility of the driver. Normally no special insurance is required for a Classic Car Tour, however you are advised to check with your Insurance provider whether you will be covered for this type of event. A minimum of Third Party Insurance for all persons who will drive participating vehicles must be applicable for the duration of the event.
8. Scrutineering
The car must have a valid Road Fund Licence, MOT Certificate (if applicable and Certificate of Insurance - these should be available for inspection. The Driver will be required to sign a declaration confirming the car is insured and both Driver and Passengers are required to sign a Declaration indemnifying the Organisers from liability, on the Signing On Sheet at the start of the Tour.
9. Controls
Route Check Code Boards may be in place to establish that the correct route has been followed.
10. Data Protection Act
Prospective entrants and participants are advised that information supplied on the entry form will be held on a computer and used for the administration of the event.
11. Final Instructions
Will be sent out after the 15th April which will include a Map of the start venue, the Entry List confirming your Start time and a sample of the Tulip diagrams. The Rally plates, Road Book and Map will be available at the Start which opens at 8.30am.
