Strathblane Primary is the winner

The Rotary Club of Strathendrick arranged for 12 local primary schools from surrounding villages to take part in a national Rotary quiz at the Balfron Campus, with the winners going forward to the next round.

Over 75 parents and friends of Rotary came to support each team of four Primary School children.

Quiz master Alan Watson asked the 120 questions, taking advantage of a PowerPoint presentation by Stuart Dick. A Rotarian scorer was allocated to each team to check the scores and see fair play. At the half way stage two teams were neck, the eventual winner however was Strathblane Primary All school team members received a certificate of having taken part, and the winners received the Shield which they will hold for a year.
